Only one will win. Will Lando Norris win his first title that he's been fighting for since mid-2024? Or will Verstappen snatch his fifth title? Or maybe Piastri will achieve his first title after a turbulent end to the season.

It's clear each driver has worked hard to get to the point they are at now, but three people can't win a title; only one will come away victorious.

Lando Norris has been fighting for points all season. He started off the season with his win in Australia, which ultimately led to him leading the championship until it was taken by Piastri in Saudi Arabia. In Mexico, Norris was able to take back the lead of the championship as his teammate experienced some difficulties over the coming races. In Vegas, both McLarens were disqualified, which meant a loss of points for Lando but also meant his teammate was closer to him in points. He remains in the lead going into Abu Dhabi and has the highest chance of winning the championship. The question is, will McLaren implement team orders in Norris's favour to help him win the title?

Max Verstappen is a big threat to McLaren because he is an excellent driver who isn't afraid to use an aggressive driving skill. This season, Max has been consistently winning and moving his way up the championship ranks. After being 104 points behind Piastri after Zandvoort, Max was able to close the gap and even become 2nd in the championship. Verstappen is definitely never to be ruled out and seems to have a strong chance at winning his 5th title.

Oscar Piastri led the championship since Saudi Arabia and kept getting consistent results to keep him in the lead until he began to fall behind and experience some difficulties within races and his car. This let his teammate Lando retake the lead. In Qatar, McLaren made the wrong strategy decision which allowed Verstappen to overtake him in the championship. Oscar has the least chance to win the championship, but he can never be ruled out at any point and might surprise us all on Sunday!
